True Tone Arts is the vision and creativity of Mike Aronis. He started playing guitar at the ripe age of 12 and has been playing ever since. After playing in several bands and opening a recording/rehearsal studio in New Jersey, Mike decided to fuel his knowledge for music by attending Berklee College of Music. He obtained a partial scholarship and has a B.A. in Film Scoring with a minor in Performance. Awarded with an internship in 1993 at ABC New York, he assisted music producers and editors on the daytime soap opera "One Life To Live" and worked with composers David Nichtern "Midnight At The Oasis" and well known Film and TV composer Lee Holdridge.   Mike was also featured in 1995 at Berklee College of Music for his guitar playing by being one of six players chosen for Berklee's guitar night.

 

 

 

 

 

Moving to Los Angeles, he worked at Elias Arts and wrote music for Mastercard, Clorets, and Infiniti commercials to name a few. As a freelance writer he has worked on various projects, Colgate, Pacific Park, Ediets, Nike, and Atari. Film projects include "Face Down in the Family Pool" and "Burning Man". Currently is working on a movie with Writer/Director Manny Merchan called "Mohawk Wash" and also with music library and commercial houses throughout LA as a freelance writer. He built his own studio and created a very warm productive environment. He is proficient with all of the latest technology. 

Mike has been very fortunate to work with some very creative and talented directors/producers and loves collaboration. Expansion of his repertoire is very important, and Mike is always learning and stretching his knowledge of music cultures.

He also is the writer/guitar player for the rock band "Magic Pill", currently playing throughout Los Angeles.

Studied privately with Robben Ford, Chuck Welch, and Al Defino.
